About the Maker

Cowshed started with a simple mission: to inject a little country calm into people's busy lives. Today their spas and treatment-led natural therapies are famous worldwide for their originality, character and uncompromising attitude to quality. An old cowshed might seem an unlikely place for a spa and range of natural products to be born, but that's exactly what happened with Cowshed. Soho House founder Nick Jones created the original Cowshed spa at Babington House as a retreat within a retreat, extending the hospitality of the House into wellness and wellbeing for guests. Perfumer Richard Howard developed products specifically for the spa and House using ingredients from the Victorian walled garden in the grounds.
